My guess is it will be exactly the same, sadly. Hopefully they bring red back.

Toyota on the last Gen seemed to offer a much wider array of colors. Outside the Series.yellow, blue, etc... Subaru didn’t give you much choice.

At least it isn’t as bad as the Miata though. Not a single sports car color has really been offered on the NDs. Sad from a car that has a history of some great greens, blues, yellows, and reds.

I dunno... I kinda dig black.

hahah you right. I chose my words wrong. I think the current colors their offer are just too much of the same. Offering different shades of grey is unexciting to me.

Ours will probably be white.

Plum would be amazing! Even a lime green or teal would be wonderful even if they are just special order colors. I’m sure they could reuse colors from other models in the lineup.

They are built on the same line as the Crosstrek, so that is where we would see abnormal colors. Based on what I’m seeing for the Crosstrek, though, I hope not. Not good. Hopefully they refresh the colors with the BRZ launch.

i'd take that color any day over the monochromatic cowardice most people seem to choose. Most people really are scared of sticking out from the crowd.

crosstrek orange would look good.

That nor the bright blue are currently offered on the Crosstrek.

I do like the Hyperblue option for sure - the other blues are a bit dark for my preference. But I would totally do a Plum Crazy. I keep thinking about a wrap.

Hyper blue was awesome. I also like a slightly lighter blue, like Hyundai’s N hero blue, reminds me of the famous Gulf racing colours. Paired with red accents, light blue rocks.

Wouldn’t be surprised if gen 2 colours match gen 1 i.e.

GR86: orange, red, dark blue, black, grey, silver, white
BRZ: red, dark blue, WR blue, black, grey, silver, white

We got all those colour options in Oz on gen 1. I understand other markets missed some colours at times.

Then the special/limited editions may introduce the yellows, hyper blues, greens etc.

I would personally go for a matte grey or chalk. In terms of actual colors, I'm partial to dark red (dark purple is great, too).

When I was considering a Cayman I was gonna spend the extra $4k for Porsche's "chalk" paint. It looks awesome! Kinda matte, light beige/grey. Maybe if I get a BRZ I'll spend part of the $40,000 savings on getting that paint right away.

I'd love to own a colorful car but after one day of parking it in the sun I'd regret it. Every car I own is white. All my housemate's cars are white. Most of my friends' cars are white. It's not a choice, it's a necessity.

Sorry, don't buy it. I've lived in South Florida and owned red, green, black and white cars while living there. They all got hot on the inside. It's the glass that's the problem, and the color of the interior. Yes, white reflects heat to some extent (its one of the reasons most aircraft, and all composite aircraft are painted white) but with a car covering/tinting the windows makes much more difference than paint color.
