One of the things I really did not like at all when I sat in a Supra was how close the window was to me. It felt tight and confining even though it really wasn't. The green house in the 86 has never felt like that and even though it may seem like a minor point it is a serious consideration for some and something that all the old reviews touched on as a positive.

I think they just narrowed the rear part looking at the pictures.

Just a rendering, but I think Toyota's version will address the front bumper complaints.

I like my ts 2020 more 😌 not digging the new style. The current ones will be like a OG style 90s classics in time. Im a simple guy, I like new tech but analog gauges are like a nice time watch for me even tho I have a smart watch 😅

Boxer instrument cluster with oil temp gauge!

I actually don’t hate this cluster now because you pointed this out lol

The styling is for me is kinda meh from the pictures.

I don't like the designated area for the front plates, if you run without a front plate it'll look dumb.

I much prefer the rear design of last gen, not diggin the civic tailights.

I'll just be left wondering if the 2.4 will swap...assuming the transmission is the same.

To each their own. I like it better. :iono:

I liked the specs and updated-ish chassis. Sure have a lot of potential for upgrades on engine power NA, which is good.

If it was spring, then would be a good thing, but fall..why? Doesn’t make market sense to me, some will wait till next spring (not the anxious early buyers)

Tranny sounds to be modified but not changed. That remains to be seen though.
No matter what it would be an easier swap than any other engine. Depends on what they can do to up the power though since the value in swapping may just not be there when there are so many options for the existing platform.

The gauge cluster is all digital? I hate that, it looks horrible and they are slow to respond.

I really like almost all of this update.

Front may take some getting used to. I’d like to see the car in Red.

One thing I definitely don’t like is the pre established license plate flat spot. Ugh.

In much of North America the sales for these things drops off to nothing in the fall. It is an odd time to start selling but that is the statement they made.
Could be as simple as they are not ready to go into full production at this point. We are still in COVID and many parts plants are running at reduced capacity or even completely shut down. It doesn't seem like it outside the industry but things are far from normal still!

And the build spec and how it fits in the market sets the price, not some incremental X feature adds $123 and Y feature adds $456. The spec between Premium and Limited appears to be more substantial (wheels go from 17 to 18, for example), so they could use that to keep the starting price low.
