Any racing/driving schools in New York?
 

I know the chances are really low but are there any? New Jersey? Looking to learn some basics, maybe some drifting as well, even though i know some drifting. Always looking to learn more!
I was doing a lot of Google research and i found East Coast Drag Racing School but its located in the city and i don't really see how that works.

What exactly are you looking for? Are you looking to do it in your own car or like full like skip barber school?

Long Island, Nassau county side. I'm willing to travel.

I'd like to do it in my own car but if i have to drive the "schools car" id go for it as well.
Looking to learn how to race, drift, drive a performance car properly. Any of those or anything close to it.

Im going to skip barber in limerock ct this week its a pretty good school it will be my second time going.

If you were to sign up for a track day HPDE/time trial event with EMRA you will get to go to the "time trials school". In there you will get one on one on and off track instruction with an experienced racer. You will get to do it all in your own car.

There is an event August 25th at lime rock with EMRA, I will be running my BRZ. Here is their schedule http://www.emraracing.org/Register/Schedule.aspx

Its wed and thursday its there 2day high Preformance driving school my father says we are driving porches, Lexus, and some mazdas. The first one i did was just there two day driving school i drove the mazda 3 rx8 and miata

NASA Northeast also offers pretty awesome HPDE events. At these events new drivers are paired up with experienced instructors who ride along with them all day and mentor them on track. The students are also required to attend 1-2hrs of classroom instruction as well. The guys here at AZP have been instructors for NASA for over 10 years and it is a great program. The EMRA events aren't as formal training as the NASA ones but are also a great bang for their buck.
