1st time on 1/8' mile
 

It's been 3 weeks since I bought my car.
Finally put 1k miles on it so I decided to take my car down the track after work yesterday...

I was very surprised how good this car launched off the line and felt really good going down the track. I got there mid day 4o'clock with the heat at 100 degrees, which didn't help at all ha

Ran it completely stock with full interior, stock tire pressure and stock tires.
Got off the line with consistent .300's so my times kept getting lower but ran 10.2's consistently. Took a break and let it cool down a little then got one more run in and did a 9.9. Pretty happy about that but I think I can push it a little more. I'll be out there again with some weight reduction and lower tire pressures and see how that goes. I was the only frs/brz

on my first time i had trouble getting anything under 10.2 .. i was trying not to spin the wheels when taking off but i realized that you have to drive that b*tch hard to get great times .. on my last day at the strip ive been able to pull 9.37 with ½tank of fuel, empty trunk and a +5hp sticker lol
