Removed Snorkel

Hello I have removed the snorkel, some say it is a mistake but my Takeda Momentum intake like Greedy recommend removing it.

I have been told that I am more likely to get water.

Those of you who have this intake, did you take it away? Why would the seller want your car to have problems for not having that part?

thanks

The snorkel that goes to the passenger side? You'll be fine man. Just make sure to plug the hole inside the car under the glove box. The intake might of came with a stopper or something. If not inside the glove box you will find a cigar lighter pull it out and plug it in the hole.

Enjoy the car

The stock snorkel may reduce the chance of getting water through the angles but doesn't eliminate it.
If the instructions said to remove it then I would assume they tested it. Just don't drive through any really deep puddles or during a hurricane and it will be fine!

If you are driving through water deep enough to get in your airbox you have made a huge mistake somewhere.

Someplace between zero difference to possibly losing performance.
Definitely no benefit.
