Rear camber etc

Hi,

I bought wheels that are 11" wide with low ET for the rear. I'll be rolling fenders but i want/need a lot of negative camber.

I know that I need:
* Adjustible Lower control arms
* Adjustible toe arms

So, question is.
Is it neccessary to buy Upper control arms?
Do I need Trailing arms? What are trailing arms for?
This is my first GT86, I've only built Nissan, Honda and other cars.

I googled a lot but can't find exactly what i'm looking for.

Excuse me for my bad english, I'm from Sweden! :bonk:

imho you shouldn't need trailing arms, you might need upper arms to get what you want but with just the two lower arms maxed out the car is likely near undrivable at anything other then parking lot speeds so I say just hit the alignment shop with the two lca's and see where you're at.

There's more stance boi's on instagram and facebook, you might have better luck there.

Thanks for the reply stratcaster. I was having the same issues as well. Was about to post the new thread but instead thought to do some search along the forum and found the exact same thread.
Thanks again brother.

Welcome from Sweden, spc are the most common rear toe arms to buy bc they work well, and are not too pricey. Pbm are the most common rear lower control arms bc they work well and are not too pricey also. Rlca are for pushing the the bottom of the wheel out, and ruca are for pulling the top of the wheel in.

If you have 18x11-6 or similar i think you will need to focus on pulling the top of the wheel in with ruca.

Here is my stockbody with 18x11-6 on before I cut fenders. You see the wheel is very far out and the top would need to be pulled in, but the bottom could left alone.

On the finished product photo you notice my wheel sits more towards the rear of the wheel well. Trailing arms adjust this and could bring the wheel back to the center of the well, but i do not rub or find a problem with how it is so I did not buy trailing arms.

Hope this helps.

I just remembered the above stockbody 18x11-6 picture is with 25mm spacers too. Sorry for the confusion, but knowing that my recommendation would be change rlca and toe arms. That is the most common way of upgrading rear suspension. I would 9nly get trailing arms and ruca after you install rlca and find it's not enough

OK I gatta ask.
Why the hell would there be spacers on 11 inch wheels?

To be flush with a widebody, c'mon tcoat every chipmunk knows that.

Just to reinforce my recommendation to not derail the thread, I think you should first install rlca and rtoe arms and then see if you still need ruca, but you probably wont
