Decades of smoking and years long drinking binges catch up with you eventually.

I saw this earlier and was sad. I always enjoyed listening to Van Halen and Def Leppard with my dad growing up

I saw them open for sabbath and blow them off the stage and then on their first headline tour. After that it wasn't the same. Imo they got too big too fast.

The best (with DLR) Saw them as a garage band in L.A. When they first started.

I saw the original VH several times.

I remember watching a show about R&R guitarist years ago, and it credited only about 5 guitarists with truly changing the way people play the electric guitar. Eddie was one. A R&R legend. RIP.
