I got a BRZ rather than a Toyota because I heard it described as 'A little less Monster Energy baseball cap and a little more string back gloves.'

Don't tell me I've been smug all this time for nothing!

Are you telling me that in the US the Subarus are the boy racer wannabee drifters???? Wow!

Subaru market themselves as a bit of a premium brand in Aus. To wit: Toyota advertised the 86 on TV, Subaru did not.

No sarcasm whatsoever. It is the literal opposite here.

Don't know about others, but I can wait until 11/18.

And besides, "Autocar has learned from a Subaru spokesperson there are "no plans" to bring the 2022 BRZ to Europe, thus likely making it a North American and Japanese market only model."

https://carbuzz.com/news/theres-alre...022-subaru-brz

Just wondering if was a mirrored teaser or a new one...

Here in italy we foresaw it long ago... too few numbers of selling unit in those 10 years to have the gen2 86 platform, and above taxes and regulation, sportcars segment in italy it's only for "elite" people and 400+hp cars...

Europe doesn't get a new BRZ and North America doesn't get the new GR Yaris. There's something very wrong here :(

And Australia gets everything. Another reason to move to Australia.

Btw, in New Zealand we are not getting BRZ too but getting GR Yaris and still have current GT86. Yeah, I still love New Zealand :D

Yeah for such a small market Aus & NZ have a pretty huge variety of cars available.

Let's not forget service stations that sell E85 that is guaranteed to be 85% ethanol and 107 octane all the time, and also bake their own pies in store!
