Finally found another AE86 for sale..

hello guys

Finally I found another AE86 for sale this weekend, I have traveled from my house to my cusin (over 500 miles) and stayed 2 days there. When we where hanging around I spotted that 86, and I felt like I was having a dream!!!.... I really miss driving one, and I guess its my chance now. Thu I gues it will cost me alot as less than 1200 exmaples were sold in the middle east back in the 80s. God know how much left now and most people here scrap their old cars (anything that is +15 years old :( )

Well, this one has kouki front and rear bumpers, trd side skirts (I guess copy side skirts), bride seats, hks exhaust, and new overhauled engine.

Its rust free (we have no snow here :D ) and looks very clean, its only need a new paint job as color is fading I guess.

They guy is leaving after 10 days, and told me he'll reply to me tomorrow. Hopfully he won't ask above my budget which is $5K and I guess I have to pay for shipping too, or keep it in my cusin garage till I have my leave, and drive it back home :D

I'll upload the pictuers tonight :D

Yah I rememmber when I got my 1st 86 back in 2005, prices where from $500 to $800 max. You still can get that price if you find someone who dose not care about this car. But avg now is between $2k to $15K (I sold mine 8 months ago for $13K with broken rear end)

You going to use this as a DD or a track car? Lucky you being able to find a car in great condition without rust.

I'll keep it as a classic toyota and drive it on weekends. Its an old car (and rare in middle east) so whats the point of breaking it in a track. I'll keep it clean and light modded (ie itbs, exhaust, trd struts)

True. But I think you could still track it without "breaking it" since you could "break" it by just driving down the road to pick up some groceries. Might as well enjoy it while you have it unless you are a collector and will restore it.

He still have it. My cusin went to see him at his house, and that 86 is still parking in front of that guy house and the owner is not there??? I don't know whats in that guy head, but he is moving to another counrty, so he must be busy? but why he is not replying to us?

Last night my cusin met the guy.... He is asking $7K @_@

I'm $2K short :( , guess I have to wait more time then.... I also found an R31 Skyline coupe, very clean with RB30E engine. I'm really a big fan of the R31 skyline. Its going for $5K :)

Some of you think these were only made in RHD only, but in middle east we have the LHD version which is really rare now as many were totalled by stupid/rickless driver :(
