Changed battery - slow start?

Replaced my battery (with a Duralast 35 DLG) and started it fine but when I later took it for a drive it felt like I would be able to completely remove my foot from the clutch pedal and nothing was engaging. I instead revved it and it really felt like I had to get the RPMs up to feel the bite point and the few traffic lights that I stopped and went at it felt like it would borderline stall.

Question is, did replacing my battery reset something from the factory or do I now have to anticipate how my car moves now from a standstill?

*fun fact about the battery: this battery replaced the factory battery and is much taller because I had to adjust the harnesses

ECU is relearning, just keep driving and should start to smooth out (strange behavior from trans though ..)

i'm pretty sluggish after waking up from pulling my power as well!
