Buying front fender splash shield

my right fender splash shield is missing from a small collision on front bumper. so I need buying a new one.

However there are so many small parts online that seems need to buy to install/secure the fender inner shield: https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/sho...rimLevel=30248

like clips/retainer. Any suggestions?

my car model is 2018 toyota 86 GT trim.

Thanks in advance!

i would call up a few local junk yards. odds are there's going to be an 86 that's been rear-ended that they'll happily sell you everything within the wheel well that you'll need for cheaper than the dealer.

Are you trying to find a splash guard (mudflap)?

You should be able to find an OEM type on line.

As far as the junk yard people taking parts off for you, they usually won't but sometimes they will.

Reminds me of a back-in-the-day story. When my daughter turned 16, I gave her my old "airport car", a 1979 Chevrolet Caprice. She wrecked it within a month of getting it (front end damage).

So, I took her down to the local wrecking yard and had her go in to try to find parts for it. Not to worry, I wasn't far off. She was a very pretty girl and quite well endowed and was wearing shorts. The kid behind the desk was quite taken with her and grabbed a tool box and escorted her back through the junk yard till they found a car that had the parts she needed. (Oh, I was not far behind).

The nice young man pulled off a headlight unit, a grill and some other parts for her. When they arrived back up to the office she ask how much he wanted for them, he walked over to his boss and came back and said "no charge", with a big grin.

So, it just depends ..... :D

like humfrz said, it depends!

i've had yards that demand i pull the parts, yards that charge extra if they have to pull them, and yards that won't even let me past the register.

always best to send the cute girl when you can though!

there's also a few dozen different junk yards on ebay that are always making it clear that if there's not something posted, just ask. 86's in my area are impossible to find, so i've had a lot of success going through ebay for a lot of parts.
