What was wrong with the first C30 unit?
Hopefully it didnt blow any metal shavings into the intercooler..

The shaft/impeller was never damaged, so no there were no shavings to be had. I sent the unit in under warranty and they inspected it, ultimately telling me it was the rear seal on the back of the Rotrex unit that was faulty, and they replaced it at no cost to me.
