Noise on acceleration of a A/T car
Heya, I have noticed every time I come to a complete stop from motorway, when I accelerate slowly around 2000-2200 rpm, I can hear a light vibrate/rattling sound. Sounds feel like 2 metal things touching each other when they are loose - I am just explaining the idea of that sound.
When I quickly rev high, I can also feel the sound/vibrate is there but due to sound generator, I can not hear it. The car is completely stock with only less than 1400KM on ODO. I tried to capture the sound but it was very difficult to record. Please check at 8-10 sec of this video. Also, I believe, 2 weeks ago, I heard it but not that often. Any idea what is going on here? or is it normal. Thanks in advance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O34rqhl10ok |

Now, it's not a bad thing to be aware of various sounds this car makes as long as you don't start "hearing things". I don't hear anything in your video to be concerned about. Please keep in mind that most of the time, if your car is ailing, it will tell you via a CEL However, something could be lose. You might want to check the heat shield and under panels to see if they are secure. I hope you get it settled - :) |
Thank you humfrz. I am discovering new noise every week. May be I am new on this car scene thats why really worrying me. I will check the underneath and under panel if there anything is loose and keep updating here.

i don't hear anything from the video on my laptop with crappy speakers. so i think you're good!
when in doubt, i turn the radio up. if it's important enough, the offending sound will get louder if it really should be addressed ;) |

I hear it, but this is a cheap car so noises are common. See if it gets worse or report back if you can kinda isolate where you think its coming from
