Track Day at Infineon Raceway Review
I did a track day with Hooked On Driving at Infineon Raceway last friday. It was a blast since I have not been to a track in a while. Great instructors, great people, and in general lots of fun.
Not going to delve into the details but long story short, the BRZ is a great car for having fun on the track. It does understeer but you can solve some of it by trail-braking slightly into the corner and keeping the front tires slightly loaded before turning in. Also the brakes faded slightly (I only changed the fluid) towards my 3rd or 4th session, but I was dive bombing a lot of corners for fun. Brake pads/SS Lines or a driving school is probably next in line for me. Don't have any photos but you can see some here. http://www.gotbluemilk.com/web120803/22/index.html |
Stock tires? Always thought Infineon would be a cool track to drive.

Yea, ran stock tires.

one of my favorite tracks I am jealous (Barber takes the cake for me). Havent been around that track in a car but hope I can do it in the near future.

I love Infineon. Drove it in a rental MB c300 there last time I was in Cali. Awesome track.
