Engine was blown.

Anyone know of where I can find one for a decent price.

New used or rebuilt

Try junkyards, craigslist for partouts, and car-part.com

Expand your search. You can use a 2013-2016 easily. A few sensors and harness changes but just use the harness with the new engine and not worry about those. Matching on to the trans you had (AT in an AT or MT in an MT) is easier as well but also not completely required.

I've had reasonable offers from people on these forums but how can I trust a motor without looking inside or listening to it. They look brand new with low mileage but that doesn't mean there's no seized parts inside. Ive been offered $1500 with 4k miles which I would purchase in a heart beat..

It's always a crap shoot.. we take videos of the car running if we are selling an engine but even that doesn't really guarantee that we didn't somehow break it afterwards.
