Ikon body kit worth it?

If you don't own one and or have never installed one then don't even comment. However to anyone who has it or has installed one, how was the fitment and ease of installation? Also how does it hold up with track/drift days. Post pics below! I already know that it doesn't line up with the door perfect but thats fine. From what I've seen overall it doesn't seem that bad.

If you are against it then what other cheaper body kits would you recommend. Thank you

I've seen a lot of people with it and you can't really tell the difference at times. I did hear about warping as it is abs plastic. If you're molding it then I don't see a problem.

Fitment is great at first. Then once it gets in the sun it starts deforming. Save yourself the hassle and just buy authentic parts. Authentic rocket bunny fenders are only about 1300 shipped from Evasive. My ikon fenders lasted about 4 months before they started to warp, and by month 6 they were brittle and one actually cracked.

Did you garage keep it? Mine is in the garage majority of time unless I'm going out drifting or events

Just buy the real stuff. Support authenticity.

Yes it’s more expensive, but the fit is better and they’re typically more durable as well. I ran the same Vertex kit on my s14 for over 5yrs. Plenty of DD and drift events. Stayed in one piece the whole time while other people with $400 kits had to replace their aero multiple times because their bumpers would literally explode when hitting a cone higher than 40mph

Car is a daily driver and was not garage kept at the time. The ikon kit only costs half as much and the real kit. The ikon kit is basically non repairable since it’s a brittle plastic. Just buy the authentic RB fenders one time, if you damage them they are easy to repair with fiberglass.

Rather an unfortunate name for a body kit..

But there are other reps that are fiber glass for less money so?

Dare to be different,,, ABW Motorsports Arches, Fiberglass, excellent fitment and mine were about $450 shipped. I have 18x10 285/30 square. You should be able to do 18x11 if wanted/needed.
