2020 BRZ Limited: How to Display Gear Indicator
 

Hi,

I just purchased a new 2020 BRZ Limited in manual transmission. I read the manuals, but there was no mention of the gear indicator feature. I see several tutorials online for displaying which gear the BRZ/FR-S/86 is in, but they are all for older models (~2013). These tutorials do not work for my car.

Does anyone know if this feature exists in newer models? If it does exist, how do I display the gear indicator in a 2020 BRZ?

Scroll all the way to the right on your in-dash display, and there are a bunch of settings. Move around in there until you find gear indicator, shift light, etc.

its in the manual too, and requires a few "pedal dance" kinda things

I have a 2018 automatic. When I manually change gears with the paddles, the gear indicator comes on for a few seconds, but then turns off after a few seconds. Is there a way to have the indicator always on?


I looked in the manual but couldn't find a way.
