While searching for something else in the garage, I found this in a box. Can't recall what this is from!

Oddly enough, I don't even know if it's from the BRZ... :iono: but given how shiny it is, it can't be from my wife's 2008 Ford.Attachment 190493

Looks like a cable or hose bracket, brake or clutch or Ebrake.

Besides the clutch return spring removal, the car is all stock.

It's never comforting to be left with an extra screw or nut after a tedious project!

Looks like a parking brake cable bracket that bolts to the rear caliper

Cable doesn't go to the caliper on our cars, it has an internal drum.

Do you own any bicycles?

I do, but the bicycles don't have any parts missing either. Just recently fixed allthe gearing, and everything looks good.

If it isn't from the BRZ, I hope it isn't from my R6!

Still scratching my head about this. Several times in the past this happened to me :/ I would work on something and fix it, and in the end there'll be a spare washer or O ring... and even a banjo bolt!

What every it is off (it is indeed a brake line or cable bracket). It is still shiny new so whatever it came off of wasn't used much if at all.

Maybe it came with some sort of repair kit and was a part that would have been used for another model/application - :iono:

OR

It came with a repair kit and an old piece looked perfectly good, so it wasn't used - ;)

That be true.

However, when you get to that point and find something mysterious, 5 minutes later, you will forget that you found it - :D
