WTB: Scrap Engine
 

Looking For:

A junk engine. Spun bearing, broken rod, hole in the block, engine swap leftover, etc. Plan to use it as a mock-up engine for some development ideas, does not need to be capable of ever running again. Although, the more complete the better.

Will pay to ship smaller parts, engine needs to be within driving distance of Kalamazoo, MI.

you're probably much better off talking to a salvage yard-- there's a few dozen of them on ebay that take requests for just about anything.

I keep an eye out at local yards, but I'm not in a hurry for anything and I know people have random stuff laying around they might like to get a little money for.

There are a lot of online scrap platforms where you search for such an engine. You should email a few of such companies, and they will send you the price they want for the engine. I have a lot of experience with scraps, the most important thing is to choose wisely a company. I worked with the guys from this online scrap calculator that is giving the best offers. In this way, I got rid of some junk cars from my backyard. I got paid very fast, and a few guys came to take the cars out of my backyard
