HKS V3 supercharger

Hi guys, since i have the supercharger kit on my car, the spark plugs had failed 3 times.

Just wondering is the oem plugs good enogh to handle 10 psi of boost ?

Any recommendation for some good aftermarket plugs ?

HKS Plugs

People are running 20+ Psi and 550+ whp on stock plugs. What was wrong with yours to make them fail? HKS plugs seem pretty good though. But if they went bad for any reason other then not being up to par (which I doubt is the reason) it will probably keep happening.

Need to post closeup pictures of the bad plugs. What has failed?

Agreed with others. Are they burning out or getting fouled

I’d bet this is tied to tune / tune related. Follow up plsr when you get it sorted I’m curious as heck myself

I have this kit installed on my car with the upgraded pulley, so a peak boost of 13 psi.

I've had no problems with the OEM spark plugs, although I am running E85 (not sure if that makes a difference?).

That is probably a bad tune running too rich. I would get a proper retune with the new plugs.

When I had this car and used the default tune from HKS I decided to buy the HKS spark plugs. The only reasoning I had at the time was because that’s the part they used for their testing and I trusted the brand. (And I wanted something to play with on the car)

After taking out the factory plugs I noticed they were a bit black and felt better about buying the HKS set. I am going to have to recommend you buy 5 though. After several hours of installing the plugs one of them was bad and it didn’t run right. I had to put an oem plug back in until the replacement arrived.
