OBD 2 splitter and OFT

Is it possible/safe to run an obd2 female-2 male splitter to the oft(v2) and my head unit? The head unit is run to my obd2 port currently for reverse cam/engine monitoring and I'd like to run the oft as well. Can both be plugged in safely via a splitter?

They can, but you'll only be able to get the data polling from one device. I tried this with EcuTek and my P3 Gauge and you only get one to work at a time, not necessarily which one you want as well. If it has a switch you can get around that.
