Does the C light inside the 2017+ BRZ headlights stay on when installing on a 13 BRZ?

I might change my headlights to a set of 2017+ and don’t know if the DRL light inside will stay if I install them on my 2013 BRZ. On 2017 BRZ’s the DRL is in the headlight so it stays on automatically, does that mean it’ll just be on if I install them on a 2013 BRZ that already has DRL’s?



I understand there are harnesses like the diode dynamics always on module that will have it lit up always, but I am just curious how it works with this swap.
