Repair issued by corporate..

I first had my CEL light flash just even before I can take the car out of the lot. But said make the computer know all the parts and ride it. After a day the CEL went on permanently and the slip sensor light came on also and called Toyota. They Asked me to take it in for a check. I have to take it the next day cuz of personal errands but the next day when I was about to take it into the dealer, there was no CEL and slip sensor light. Took it to the dealer to make sure it is checked. After waiting the rep told my that the code they saw was about the vvti so they interchange it trying to make the CEL pop back on but no CEL. But today while at idle in a parking lot rpm dropped about 500 and like the car want to stall then CEL flashes 3 or 4 times.. But need to go to Napa for an errand so I drove her still and while driving back from Napa, CA, again CEL went on permanently and I just have 300 miles but while driving my dealer called me and told that they need my car for a repair issued by the corporate themselves to people having CEL problems. Parts regarding the issues to be repaired are in. I'm scheduled on monday for it to be fixed by the foreman and needed it for two days. I'll be getting a loaner car for the mean time.

Just take your car in to the dealer if experiencing anything like this or other problems. Like somebody said the more we are, the fastest we can get these issues fixed and enjoy this car to its potential.

Note: I also have chirping noise in the engine and the idle dip coming in to a stop. I'll let my dealer know this too for sure.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I think there was another post similar to this before. Hopefully they can get you in and out without any further problems. But for now enjoy the Corolla.
