TRD Springs

So I ordered a set of trd lowering springs for my 13 Frs, I got a box that says they're for a corolla/matrix are they the same springs or just an order mix up

DarkPira7e 06-23-2020 11:23 PM

Sounds like a mix up to me, send them back.

Thats what I was afraid of oh well thanks

Which begs the question, why would anyone need TRD springs for a Corolla or Matrix?

Why do people need them for any car?

even if it is for a commuter car, smaller wheel gap always looks better..

Part # for FR-S TRD Springs is PTR0718130. What is your part #?

I like the TRD springs on my FRS, it’s a mild drop. Just to visually get rid of some of that 4x4 wheel gap is worth it. LOL And they are made by Eibach I think, so they are good quality.

The TRD springs (port installed) on my 2020 86 were terrible. No suspension travel at all and always hitting the bumpstops. Unless you live down South I would avoid these as they are NOT matched to the dampers.

As I said in the other thread they were likely improperly installed. It is not normal to hit the stops all the time.

For the record I have lowered every car I have owned since 1995.
Even my … GASP … Lancers!
So far the Hakone is the only one that lasted at stock height for more than a week. Damn covid.
