Mach V muffler delete prototype

We built our own muffler delete pipe, and I took some video of our BRZ with the pipe installed.

sounds nice!

That sounds better than most of the full on exhausts I've seen (heard?).

In for pics & price. :)

Take my money please.

I'm serious!

Nice!!! Give me one now (or in two weeks when I get my car) :bellyroll:

Oddly this is the most "boxer" like exhaust I've heard so far.

bimmerboy 08-08-2012 11:34 PM

Sounds very boxer-ish, i like...

Take a look at this thread regarding high temps from muffler deletes (see the youtube clip too). http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14112

Curious if you are experiencing the same issue?

mashal 08-08-2012 11:37 PM

I think I just found the sound I wanted my exhaust to make . Definitely interested .

that's cool and sounds really nice... i wouldn't want to mess with heat issues, though...

Ours is of 2.25" pipe, which I think is slightly smaller than twincamRob's. Ours is stainless steel, too, although I'm not sure that's going to make a difference in how much heat it radiates. But in any case, we had no issues with heat on the bumper.

+1 to all of the above. Subscribed.

I'm hoping for a dual tip muffler delete. I know it's extra weight but I hate single exit on a dual exit bumper.
