Dell's new tablet computer will use sideslip keyboard
According to pc news reports that Dell's new tablet computer will use 7 inch screen, the biggest characteristic is this new tablet equipped with a QWERTY sideslip keyboard, and the keyboard is discontinuous,it apart by dell LOGO in the middle, this makes us think of the Windows 8 and iOS5's split keyboard which have displayed in the Computexfree shipping.

Eh. Tablets are only good for photoshop and the ipad/kindle/samsung thing other than that I don't see it being very useful in a home computer situation. Unless you're a complete lazy turd that is.

Here is another try that will still fail against the iPad.

Nah. I have my iMac, my PC workstation, and an iPod touch. I don't feel the need to get a bigger iPod touch (which is all the ipad is) until the one I have is completely dead. But, then I don't really care to keep up with tech trends for the sake of keeping with the trends. I still use a 6 year old flip cell phone that can't even text, well not easily anyway.

I had the same feelings as you about the iPad until I bought my wife the iPad1. Now I bought myself an iPad2 for use when traveling for work. Much nicer than using a laptop to check email, surf, play games, skype, or watch Netflix/hulu. Trust me it is more than just a larger iPod. |
im a desktop kinda guy... but i have a world of uses for a tablet unfortunately there are no tablets in existence as of yet that meet my needs/demands.
AKA i need a tablet that can has processing capabilities to run all my video editing, 3d software, image editing, sound editing, with multi-HDMI mini output. + internet tethering...or 4G equipped. Basically a gaming computer in a slim tablet form. |
