Ecutek bluetooth connect issue
2 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I got tuned with ecutek at theracersline. I purchased the tune and license. And i later got an ecutek bluetooth dongle. Ive paired it with my phone and the light on the ecutek dongle is solid blue. But when i try to access my car’s data. It just days no vehicle interface. So im confused and just want to datalog my car. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. |
Is your car running when doing this? Have you unplugged and plugged the connector back in? I had to use an ODB2 extender cable to get my OBD2 port to be reliable, I frequently had connection issues previously

I did order a OBD2 port extender, im thinking it is that. But i can't download ProEcu on my computer. |

The deskey is what allows ECUtek proecu to run on the computer, it needs to be in a USB port on the computer anytime proecu is running, your license is tied to that dongle |

do you have a samsung
i heard of some Samsung top end that would n tconnect to it no matter what |
It's probably the OBD port on the car. The car's pin receivers are pretty wide and have loose tolerance versus the tiny pins on the Bluetooth Connect Module.
If you pick-up an OBD extender/adapter cable, it will probably resolve your issue. That's what I needed for mine because the power pins weren't making good contact. |
