OFT Flex fuel tune on 2017 Toyota 86 MT

Has one on a 2017+ Manual got a flex tune on Open Flash?

I have searched the forums but can't find a straight answer. Feel free to point me in the right direction

I'm going e85 next week as we have a steady e85 supply at a few local stations, but I do country cruises and track days which are far from e85 from the nearest e85 (and I don't want to be carrying jerries of e85 in the boot).

Flex would be good as due to the distance between petrol stations I won't be able to run it down to empty between fill-ups

I'm sure you could reach out to them for a custom flex tune, but the issue is there isn't a flex fuel kit for MY17+ out yet.

I've run into the same problem.

OFT flex tune only support 2012-2016 models for 2017+ car no oft flex tunes, if you want flex on 2017+ you will need ecutek

You can do dedicated E85 tunes on 2017+ on oft but not flex

Ah ok thanks. I was hoping someone had done it, even my parts supplier said ecutek but he's never used oft so couldn't confirm

I have emailed openflash to see if they can do a custom flex tune. I'll my local race shop to do the ethanol content sensor if they support it.

Otherwise it look like it will be Australian 98 for long drives and e85 for track days and city driving!
