Swapping 2013-16 steering wheel into 2017+ BRZ/86
 

Hello fellow 86ers

I am really liking the TRD Momo and Cusco 350mm steering wheel. Given that they are not for the 2017+ BRZ/86, how would the swap work? would it be a direct plug & play? or what would I need for the swap?

I'm willing to sacrifice the steering wheel buttons

Ps: there is info about swapping the 17+ steering wheel into the 2013-16s, but have not seen info for the opposite scenario

You might want to find someone with a 2013-2016 steering wheel, stalk and clockspring/steering angle sensor that wants to swap. If I didn’t own an aftermarket steering wheel then I would have swapped. I’m not saying you need all those things but the new owner of the 2017+ probably would. I’m sure you will find takers.

TRD Momo IIRC is discontinued and very hard to find these days, at most somewhere used, if previous owners are willing to sell it off then usually ask price like for new or more.
