Removing shock tower brace

Hi, I couldn't find the exact correct name for the part, but will removing and reinstalling this part (highlighted) affect the alignment? I've just had the alignment done and ould hate to throw it off.

shouldn't affect you, I wouldn't worry about it.

It won’t do anything to the alignment.

Thanks! Out of curiosity, what effect to shock tower braces have this car? Seems like it would make the car stiffer around turns?

Exactly, they reduce chassis flex under high cornering load. They are not loaded sitting still on a level surface.

When you put it back on, do not over tighten, the studs strip easily. Spec is 12ft*lbs, no more.
