Popping sound from front passenger side tire while braking.

I've been experiencing a popping sound while braking when i'm almost at a complete stop. It could be happening more often, but I only hear it when i'm almost at a complete stop. I was told wheel bearing & have yet to troubleshoot. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what was the issue or possible issues?

Thanks in advance.

How many miles on your car?

Any mods?

No mods yet, all stock suspension. I bought the car ~20k miles ago.

Okay. So a popping sound...do you feel anything or just hear it? Brake judder or steering wheel shake?

On my list to inspect (in no particular order) would be:
  • wheel bearings
  • front endlinks
  • front control arm bushings
  • front strut top mounts

I don’t feel anything, no. Just hearing the pop. I know the importance/significance of the wheel bearing being changed pronto if that’s the case, but if it’s any of the others listed.. are they urgent repairs? & are there ways to diagnose/troubleshoot those? I’m not too familiar with suspension, I’m a YouTube tutorial kind of guy lol. Thanks for the replies & help

The front wheel bearings in this car start to make noise before there is any discernible play in them. It's a low rumbling noise when that side is loaded. They start to screech when they are really on their way out.
