New Door Speakers

Hey guys question, I was Cruising around and i was thinking how much better it would sound with a little more kick to the bass , Without Breaking my bank. So then i got to thinking , Maybe if i replace the door speakers with a Better speaker . Any Suggestions how i can get my music to have a little more of kick?

it's a black hole of a question.

better speakers will lead to a better amplifier.

a better amplifier will lead to a better head unit for a better signal.

that will lead to replacing the wire for better versions.

short answer, get a sub.

Really high end interior speakers will get you some kick (and much higher quality sound). But a cheap sub will get you moderate to good kick (just stock quality for everything else though). Either way you probably need some level of amp.

Deaden the doors. You’d be surprised how much that would help with the low end from the door speakers.

Seconding this. Sound treatment will make a huge difference.

The stock 2 ohm speakers are surprisingly punchy, if you get rid of all the rattles and buzzing. Most of which is from the switch assemblies. Nothing a bit of fabric tape wont fix. Just this one single mod will allow you to turn up the volume without constant buzzing. Door deadening just takes it up another level.

If you're lazy or having a real busy covid lockdown and have shit to do, then just do the switch.

Sound deadening, hunt down anything that rattles.
Besides that, a cheap $200 all-in-one amp/sub/box is a good solution.

JL Audio possibly with beryllium tweeters if budget not an issue.

Not a car audio fan but the same company makes excellent home speaker drivers using similar engineering.
