Edelbrock SC ECU Mounting Plate Issue

I am installing an Edelbrock SC into my 2017 Subaru BRZ PP and have an issue with the ECU Mounting Plate. Step #119 of the Installation Guide shows the old ECU just mounting back in place with no issue. However, the instructions are for a 2013-2016 model. My 2017 has the upgraded intake manifold, and the ECU mounting plate has two large tabs with rubber rings which connect to the old intake manifold. These are prohibiting the ECU mounting bracket from being mounted with the new SC intake runners in place. Ideas or suggestions? Are 2017+ owners just cutting the mounts off the ECU mounting plate to make clearance? Perhaps I am missing something

It is hard to tell. Do the tabs slide off?

Slide the rubber grommet out. Afterwards use some pliers to bend the tabs up clearing the supercharger's runners. Far enough up they don't make contact.

I have a 2017 yellow series, I didn't run into that issue. You sure your SC is seated correctly?

Did you already tighten the lower ECU bolt?

If not that ^^^ ...Do you have aftermarket injectors or something blocking/lifting the cover?

The problem was how the ECU was mounted to the bracket from the factory. Once I removed the ECU from the ECU mounting bracket, the bracket bolted right up with 1-2 mm of clearance to the intake runners without modification. Then, I just bolted the ECU back onto the bracket using the 3 supplied screws.

Thank you for your assistance. The install continues. :-)
