Oil Cooler Mounting Options
Hey guys, decided to end up going FI.
I've managed to get in touch with someone who would do an install but they've told me information that is absolutely crucial when mounting an oil cooler. The supercharger I'm about to purchase used a front mounted intercooler and super charger lubricant cooler as well. Is there any Oil Cooler that mounts onto the passenger side? Or is there a bracket for these sorts of things? |
HKS sells an oil cooler kit that mounts in the fender, kind of within the bumper, for use with their supercharger

Check with the SC manufacturer for recommendations.

You could also check out a dual radiator/oil-cooler like the one from Jackson Racing.

So easy to DIY an oil cooler for cheaper and mount it any place you like. A lot of products are unique/proprietary to the company, but many oil coolers are not. Just pieced together “kits” only thing unique is how/where it mounts which is really pretty easy and simple. I have my oil cooler behind passenger fog light bezel, and trans cooler behind driver side fog light bezel. How and where you mount it is limited to your imagination.

Piggy backing off this thread, but is the Perrin Oil Cooler compatible with the Edelbrock Supercharger? Thanks.

Looking at the capability section of the Perrin oil cooler on thier website it seems it has some fitment issues with facelift cars. Quote:
