AT - MT Swap No Cranking
Hey,
I've swapped my AT to a CD00A Transmission. Replaced all wiring harnesses and the Engine-ecu. The ignition works, but it immediately turn off after it should start. I think the clutch sensor has no signal. Does anybody had the same issue? Tried to bridge the clutch start sensor but with no change... Thanks |
ok if your car is a key start car amd you swaped engine ecu. The car will start but then shut off after about 5 seconds.
If so you need to perform the ecu resync to security procedures in link below No need to change VIN jist to the 30 minute resync proceedure Also if the ecu you swapped in has a non standard tune, like for turbo or SC it might be set up for bigger injectors or different MAP sensor, the setup in ecu need to match the engine in car that may also be the problem https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102810 |
Hey,
The Car doesn't start... I only can switch on the ignition and the Green key starts flashing and don't respone to the clutch pedal. The green key has to stay green when clutch is pressed. But this doesnt happen. I measured today all wiring from both clutch switches and botch switches are giving a signal to the ecu. I've done a ecu handshake today, but nothing happens EDIT: Now i checked the Clutch Sensor on Techstream and it gets the Signal... but doesn't let me crank the engine.. I didn't swapped the interior harness because i didn't got one here... |
