AT ECU Reflash CAL-ID
Hey,
I've done a AT-MT CD00A Trans Swap. Swapped all the harness etc. The car is going to start if I press the brake and clutch pedal. But i want to reflash the Ecu to a MT Software. I've read here, that it is possible, the AT and MT ECUs are the same. I use the Ecutek-Cable to flash with Tactrix. How is it possible to change the CAL-ID of the ECU? Or can i flash a different Base-Tune to the ECU with Tactrix? Ecutek is present on my ECU, do I delete it with the Tactrix-reflash? Thank You! |

Yes all the ecu hardware is same, and yes you can flash an auto ecu with manual firmware If you have an ecutek licence in ECU I'd keep that and use ecutek to reflashing the correct firmware If ecu doesn't have ecutek licence then use tactrix You won't be able to read or write to an ecu that's been flashed with a ecutek tune anyway ( unless it's stock tune) Which cable do you have ? Ecutek or tactrix |
I have an Ecutek Cable and recently bought a Tatrix cable to have both...
On my ecu is a custom turbo map. I tried to flash a stock MT Rom on Tatrix with the ecutek cable but it doesn't connect to vehicle device... So i have to wait for the Tatrix Cable. With ecutek i can't flash a Ecu that doesn't match with my cal-id?! Thanks |
