Recommendation for interior care and maintenance?

What sort of cleaner/wipes would you recommend for the surfaces on the dash and leatherette trims around the car? Any opinions on Armor All wipes?

Oh and are there sunshades out there that fit the FR-S yet?

I use Armor All clearer only and apply with a microfibre towel.

DO NOT like Armourall Protectant, however. The glare and the greasiness is just too much.

Ah okay. Thanks for the advice. I think I'll go with Meguiar's and avoid the stuff that makes the interior greasy and shiny.

303 Aerospace Protectant on all plastic/vinyl/rubber pieces & trim. 303 Fabric Guard on seats and floor mats. I've heard some unsettling cases about Armor All products...

Check out chemicalguys.com. They have a lot of detailing products. Anyone try the Jetseal sealant?

Megs stuff is decent, but 303 aerospace is fantastic.

I use Meguiar's #39 heavy duty plastic cleaner on the door panels. It does an excellent job of removing dirt and scuffs from hard plastic.

IF you like the low sheen type of protectant, use WerkStat Satin Prot. It'll give it that factory fresh look, while still feeding your plastic, vinyl, rubber and giving it a UV-A, UV-B protection.

For cleaning, I would stick to AutoGlym Interior Shampoo or Optimum No Rinse @ 10:1 dilution

another vote for 303 aero. I treat every interior piece with 303 that is plastic / vinyl / rubber with my new car prep package.

i also have 303 protectant. just ordered a big thing of concentrated carpro perl, suppose to be pretty good stuff.

Stay away from armor all!
