Next gen twin

Should next generation of our beloved twin be turbocharged? How about 4 wheel steering? That way I can put it in reverse and have a rear mid engine sports car. I'd love to hear others opinions

beltax90 03-24-2020 10:39 PM

I want it to talk

TROLL!

Lantanafrs2 03-24-2020 10:44 PM

How about a real horn? The stock is great for announcing my arrival at goat yoga

Kiske 03-24-2020 10:50 PM

How about a damn armrest included?

DarkPira7e 03-24-2020 10:51 PM

Pretty sure next gen needs to have FULL POWER MOONROOF. I sincerely hope it does not come turbocharged...

Lantanafrs2 03-24-2020 10:52 PM

Okay, so far we want it to talk, have a better horn and come with an arm rest. This is good

extrashaky 03-24-2020 11:03 PM

I want it to have some useless aero, a bunch of extra vents (fake or real) and a wing.

And a full sized spare tire.

Kiske 03-24-2020 11:05 PM

What if it came with a rocket bunny kit? You could widebody your widebody!

It could come with its own cordless drill to essentially destroy the original fenders. The drill shouldn't have a torque dip though. It will get bad reviews

beltax90 03-24-2020 11:13 PM

World peace

Lantanafrs2 03-24-2020 11:15 PM

How about a case of jdm toilet paper?

Mine already does talk. "Voice Command Activated". It just doesn't listen very well though.

Even after reading the manual it doesn't like actually responding to me at all.

To me it sounds like people want them to remake the 3000GT. No thank you.

I like to imagine the next gen twin as a ninja fighting off evil samurai.

So, something like this?

Sasquachulator 03-25-2020 11:53 AM

It needs to come with a Eurobeat mix CD or download so that you can feel like initial D when your barreling down a narrow roadway with tons of curves to drift around.

Dzmitry 03-25-2020 12:07 PM

I expect it to have a lower center of gravity, something like a nice 10" down from 18". I want that exhaust to just barely miss that speed bump. And a lower cd would be great too, something like .15, get that top speed up to 200 mph after several minutes of full throttle in 6th gear.

When I found it to get the pic, I had to order it. It looks like it has serious orange peel in the paint, but totally worth the $14 on Amazon.

IT can be added (the sliding one) on the toyota website as a dealer installed accessory for the 86.

Im sure you can just buy it from toyota....but it'll have the silver stitching.

NWFRS 03-25-2020 03:42 PM

Toyota is listening. They will build it in an American factory with 19" wheels, stickers, racing stripes, armrests, wing, widebody, armrest, and 215hp. It will have red seatbelts and cost $50k.

Dave-ROR 03-25-2020 04:13 PM

I heard factory nitrous. shrug.

And weigh 3700 pounds. :barf:

i'd like it to have 4 wheels.

Lantanafrs2 03-25-2020 08:53 PM

I was joking about the 3 cylinder turbo. Not good for the states. I want more, not less

The GR Yaris has a 257hp 1.6 turbo3.

Koenigsegg just released a 600hp turbo3...

NWFRS 03-25-2020 09:13 PM

I'd like a 2.0 litre mid-engine V12 with dual-clutch gearbox. I'd like it to weigh 2000 lbs and have open-wheels.

Lantanafrs2 03-25-2020 09:20 PM

We dont need more complexity. Gas is cheap. More displacement, lower compression is fine. Look how long it took to debug the fa20.

Lantanafrs2 03-25-2020 09:22 PM

The gr yaris is a jdm Mickey mouse watch. Drive it around in circles yelling bonjour oui oui

Just transplant a Koenigsegg Gemara TFG. It's a turbo 3. Would 1800 WHP be enough?:iono:

Now, that would be an engine swap.

Lantanafrs2 03-25-2020 10:36 PM

I doubt anyone buying an 86 would want to pay for an oil change on a koenigsegg
