Blinkers linger for ~3 seconds when unlocking, driver side cannot lock
 

So after modding the car (cosmetics, sound deadening) for 2 weeks, now all amber lights blink for ~3 seconds when unlocking the car. The driver side door also will not lock electronically, even if I use the remote to lock the car. However, the mechanical lock with the key still works.

Anyone know what's up with the car? Are the problems related?

You pulled a wire off someplace.

Solved, turns out the connector on the outermost/backmost of the door wasn't properly seated. Glad to find no wires/harnesses were damaged.
