TRD handling package parts number?

Hi there, I got a 2018 toyota 86, and want to add sachs damper and brembo from the TRD packages. Checked around the internet for new parts with no luck. I also contacted local dealer but they are not doing that.

Anyone with the same experience?

I'd recommend buying low mileage used PP suspension (Sachs and springs) and then looking at new BBK kits as buying the Brembo PP kits new will be more expensive. The Brembo GT kits are a good option as well as some of the StopTech kits.

IIRC there were BRZ "Performance Package" part numbers posted around. Imho too expensive to buy separately though if not price-recouped by replaced "stock parts" if bought as option for new car (when that PP package of different wheels/brembos/shocks come only +$2500), so at that price of retrofitting more worth thinking of aftermarket for less cost and even better performance (if wish to retrofit is due tracking car).
I'm still considering of maybe retrofitting them in future, but only because MY2017 brembos are only street legal brake kit upgrade where i live, not because they are competitive offering vs aftermarket BBKs.

Yeah looks like it the only solutions, the brembo kits itself is more expensive than the package I may remove it from my list currently...

Thanks!

It is too bad toyota didn't have the package in 2018, and my wife doesn't like subaru badge...:iono:

Option A, buy Subaru, swap badges out on drive home.

Option B, Buy pants.

It is not worth it to buy the OEM Performance Package Brembo kit sepearatley. If I remember correctly, the calipers/rotors/brackets will run about $4,000 purchased new.

The Brembo GT aftermarket kits are like $1,900 for the front and $1,700 for the rear so it makes more sense to go that way than with the OEM parts. The thing is you don't get much from Brembo for that much. You can get a Willwood or RR Racing kit with aluminum calipers and 2-piece rotors for that much.

Used Brembos from a parted out car a popular option. A complete used Brembo setup is going for about $2,000 right now.

Are the Brembo GT calipers the same size as the factory PP brembos? Just wondering if we could still use the stickied "which wheels clear pp brembos" thread as a guideline if we go with the GT route

Are the springs different in the handling package? I thought the PP only had upgraded wheels, damper, and brakes

I really wish someone would just make something like this but without the stupid emblem. I would buy it today! An actual vent would just be a bonus.

Yes, Brembo GT rotors are the same size as PP. Front is 326x30mm rear is 316x20mm.

Thanks. It's just I saw the FT86speedfactory video and they did mention the GT calipers were slightly thicker so I was just wondering if this thickness would make fitment for some wheels more problematic vs the PP brembos
