Tuning for UEL header
Hey guys, i am going to get a new UEL header for my 2017 BRZ, and i know i am suppsed to get a tune for it, but i can not do it right after the header install, i may be driving it for couple of month with the new header, just wondering is there is any problem with driving with a aftermarket header but with out a tune.:bonk:

I mean the stock tune is meant for an EL catted header, and you're willingly putting something different on without telling the car. Will you be ok? Most likely....but why not just wait to do the header and tune at the same time?

I drove with a catless UEL and a stock tune for about a year. Just lived with the P0420 CEL during that time. Nothing bad happened, but you won't notice any performance gains until you get a tune, and CELs prevent you from using cruise control, or you won't pass emissions testing if your area requires it.
