exhaust cracked
 

how often do aftermarket exhaust systems crack? i.e header/front pipe.. recently my borla front pipe cracked right where the bracket mounts to the tranny... do these cracked because there's no flex in the system? the stock header has flex pipes on it, aftermarkets don't. so when the engine moves, the exhaust can flex? I've been thinking of welding a flex pipe (on front pipe) before the tranny bracket.. will this help? am I wrong in thinking this? please enlighten me.

I've had an aftermarket header, OP and FP for about 5years, no cracking experienced.
