Ecu relean

This whole thing started with a auto to manual swap. Changed the dash and engi e bay harnesses and the ecu and bcm.
Im really struggling to get this used ecu and bcm to take a key relean or flash. I have used the 4 and 13 pin connection with the 30 minute wait with key on. Without success. Can someone help me with what im doing wrong. I dont have a jump pack so im hooking a battery charger to the battery
Thanks

what s the problem you are getting?
after the marrying you have to reflash the ecu with a compatible rom or you have trouble

That may be so. But according to all I have read, the reflash should work. Its been done by a few on this forum.

After the 4 and 13 pin jumper and 30 minutes of communication, the car still only tries to start for a short jog. then an alarm under the hood goes off for a 30 seconds. I checked the battery in my key fob and it is good.

I'm getting ready to try it again. This time ill stand by the battery and monitor the volts.

can anyone tell me where the immobilizer is and what it looks like?

well you have to know what tune is at the moment in this ecu
the ecu marrying won t change it.
you gave few information, do you have a new ecu, or the old one of yours?
if you have an auto calibration with a manual engine it won t start. if you have a new +my17 tune in your ecu in a old engine/car it won t start

So you can t reflash it? what are you using to flash?

I did an auto to manual swap. I replaced the auto ecm with one from a manual car of the same year. I also replaced the bcm from a different car of the same year that had a manual. I had to replace the harnesses as well.

My key battery is at 2.85 volts. It's a 3 volt battery. Is that low enough for the key relearn to not work. This is a smart key system. So all the harnesses are from a smart key car. I'm not sure about the ecm and bcm. I assume it can be flashed to correct that. I am just using the 30 minute relearn procedure. According to others should do the trick.
