Meet Ups?

Hi All,

I'm new to the BRZ World. Picked up my car for Christmas (and payments for the following few Christmases from now..lol)

When I had my MR2, there was a pretty solid community and plenty of meetups. Both here in OR, and in WA. Is this something that happens with the BRZ / 86's?

Would be great to meet others and get involved in the community.

Cheers,
Sabrina

There is 86 sessions up in the Tacoma area. Down here there is not much.

Well that's disheaertening. I can see it making sense though. I had to pick up my car in Tacoma, since none of them down here were even manuals!

Not much around here. During the summer they go on some cruises down the coast or towards Eastern Oregon on SR 14 and 84. They do have monthly go kart meetups too. You can also hit up the Facebook group PDX86

The karting meet is first Thursday of each month at Sykart in Tigard. People usually arrive around 7, do about 3 races, and go for a beer after. There should be a signup post on here a few days before.

Thanks, I'll join and I guess see what goes from there. I do enjoy the car community.. usually decent people swapping stories, and know how on things you may or may not want to do to your car in the future. :)

Awesome! Not sure how much of the Karting I can get to, but meeting up afterwards sounds like a plan!
