Valenti Sequential DIY
Hi guys, I have the jewel valenti tail lights and when I first bought them 5 months ago I didnt get sequential because I didnt like the look. Is there any possible way i can convert them to work sequentially?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...81fefbd665.jpg

There is, if you know how to work with LED controllers or know someone. Otherwise, there isn't really a plug and play kit. I tried searching for my gen 1 Valenti.

I believe the sequential kit just adds some sort of module inline.
I'm not aware of what the module is, or exactly what it does, but I would assume it's some arrangement of resistors, inductors, and capacitors. On the sequential tail lights, you can flip the switch on or off to go from normal/sequential mode. |

The module taps into the signal and "slows it down" via timing. Here is an example module I came across on my research: https://youtu.be/0c8jCZzVvGU?t=86 Problem is, it slows down the signal in "chunks" instead of a flow. Even if you buy the "mustang sequential one", you'll have to tap into each individual LED I believe: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079K6GHWM..._0vEkEbPHZATV2. This is where someone who messes with circuits/led controllers come in and that's out of my expertise. |
Not sure if it can be done, and if yes not worth the hassle. Sell yours and buy the sequentials, either from ebay or directly from The Speedline. That's where I got mine ~3 1/2 years ago, still working.
