How much are you paying (US) ? BRZ/FR-S

Hey just wanted to know how much you ended up getting the monthly cost. I know it depends on credit trade in and etc. I'm mostly asking to compare to what I think or hope I'll be paying.
My dads a finance manager at a dealership and pretty much told me I'll be paying about $570+$400 for insurance...$970! There's no way I'm hoping people are getting this cheaper! And if it's true I guess I'll have to wait a while :((((((((
I have good credit + I'll be putting about 3k down + and trading my 09 tC which I owe about 4K and I have equity of $2000

I'm putting 5k down which brings my monthly payment after taxes, title and reg to $469/mo. I have alot of speeding tickets so my insurance comes to about $225/mo so that's $694/mo. I'm guessing about $160/mo in gas. $854

My insurance is only $630/6 mo. for 2 cars.

Personally I think I got an amazing deal on my BRZ Limited ...here's my numbers:

Sale Price: $27,601.20
+ Sales Tax: $683.00
+ Reg Fee: $220.00
+ Title Fee: $25.00
+ Doc Fee: $399.81

Total Out the Door: $28,929.01
- Down Payment: $8,500.00

Financed $20,429.01 over 60 months @ 3.99% => $376.14 / mo

My insurance is about 65/mo (28 yo reasonably clean driving record, my own policy with my wife and some discounts)

I don't really understand you're insurance ...$400 per month?! You need to find a new insurance company.

Shop around on insurance for sure. Some companies (State Farm, Progressive) wanted to charge me $450/mo. I ended up getting Geico for $110/mo. Standard 100/300/100k coverage with $500 deductibles. 24/M/Not married/1 ticket.

Mine is low as well. $588/6mo for two cars. 98 dollars a month. No accidents or tickets. 24 years old.

My insurance is only $50.5 per month. With $500 deductible and high limits.
I paid MSRP for the car.

$12000 down

$300 a month for the car

$80 a month for insurance.

Damn, im jelous. Tax on the car in Chicago was over 2000 dollars. I paid 32k total out the door including an 8 year warranty. 7.5k downpayment with payments of 430/mo. Insurance is 530/6months.

I just put down a deposit on a BRZ Premium that became available after the original purchaser cancelled. It will be here in about 2 weeks and the dealership is asking $2k over MSRP. Other dealerships I've called are asking $3k-6k over MSRP and they are still selling within a few hours (I'm in the Bay Area). Will I be a complete tool if I pay a $2k markup? I need a car now and can't wait to order one...

So to understand, do you have a vehicle now ?
if not have you ever considered buying a cheap beater
which will probably die within a half a year..

but then again in half a years time there should be literally
boatloads of BRZ coming ashore.

My BRZ is due at the end of this month or early next month.

IMO yes, but I paid ~$27,200 or so for my Limited, whatever $499 over invoice is.

For the OP, I financed ~22500 for 60 months @ 1.94%, payments are somewhere in the 390s (393 I think, I $400 on mine per month just for the round number so I can't remember the exact number). Insurance for me, 35yo single male in Florida with no claims/tickets counting against me is about 150/month.

I'm currently sharing a car with my wife (2012 128i) and we are both getting tired of it... I could by another car until the BRZ is more readily available, but it seems like such a hassle when I could have a brand new WRB BRZ in 2 weeks time.

I'm really excited to get the car and the way I justify it to myself is that I originally planned on getting a Limited, but when I found the Premium seats more comfortable I figured the $2k markup is roughly the difference btw. the two trim levels, so I'm basically paying MSRP for a limited but getting a Premium, which is fine by me :bonk:

I honestly feel like this car is such a great value and I'm still well under $30,000...
