Throwing CEL (P0133) after OFT Tune with new headers

Hey guys,

A little back story, i have had an OFT tune for a while with no issues, i occasionally jump and retune inbetween E85 and Unleaded and its been perfect. Recently i installed some EL catless headers and tuned my e85 accordingly (El E85 Stage 2) Car was running great initially until i started throwing the same Check Engine Light - P0133. I can simply clear the code with the OFt but subsequently the car will run like a dog, in a sort of limp mode for a while, sometimes its faster to retune and let it re-learn the tune over just clearing the code, however either way im driving a limp 86 and its horrid. I proabably throw this CEL every 200kms (120miles) so im fairly often having to clear the code/ retune and deal with the slow and frustrating learning process!

Any advise would be greatly appreciated im at a wits end!

Thanks in advance guys

P0133 is for no cat.
I’m not sure if oft ots tunes have changed since i last used it but
Stage 2 was for catted header
Stage 2+ was for catless header
You need to disable the cel in the tune otherwise.

Oh Stage 2+ for catless! i wasnt aware of that, might have to give that a go thank you!!!

Actually there is no Stage 2 plus on my roms, it appears stage 2 is catless, any other ideas?

As avove P0133 is front 02 sensor slow respomse

P0420 is the car efficiency code that is disavled in oft tunes

P0133 means you jave an actual hardware problem its not tune problem

Make sure you dont jave any 02 sensor spacers fitted
Check for exhaust leaks or cracks in header

Intake leaks

If all ok you may have damaged the front 02 sensor during install, too much torque, dropping sensor or using hammer on exhaist can crack the ceramic material in sensor
