OFT MACBOOK

Hi guys

My phone didn't find any posts about using an OFT with Mac to get OTS tunes, despite me believing that this topic has already been discussed.

Anyone have any insight on how to download the OFT software for a macbook pro?

I followed the instructions on the OFT website but there are important details missing between step 1 & 2.

Have you installed a VM on your Mac first?

I believe its only supported on Windows. BUT not to worry, you can BOOTCAMP a portion of your hard drive on your mac to so use as a windows partition. Your mac will have bootcamp built in. Search Bootcamp in Finder. I believe you can also do this using an external hard drive to hold the windows partition.

You can also use a free windows license but its a test/ demo version of it. Should be all you would need.

I installed on MBP for virtualization Virtual Box (free), +usb hub (due no usb type-A on mbp, only type-C ports), redirected that port & tactrix to windows running in virtual box and it worked. Only thing i needed to care for, for that hub to not disconnect in wrong time, like eg. flashing :).
Hence i think that for OFT this should work too.

Hi guys thanks for your replies. I ended up getting bootcamp and it worked great. Cheers!
