got my WRB BRZ opticoated today
After picking up my BRZ on Tuesday and researching this Opticoat trend for a few weeks, I decide it was better to have this protection on my brand new car than not. I went on a search for someone in the Bay Area that was able to do this and more important have experience in applying it. That is when I found Andrew Mijares of Auto Salon Works. Shot him a short email on Monday night before picking up the car. He replied early morning Tuesday.
After few days of being overwhelmed by the new car sensation, I figured it was time to protect my investment. I called Andrew Thursday evening and was able to drop off my car that very evening to be worked on next day. I was shocked that he was willing to take me in such a short notice. I was also weary about giving up my brand new to a stranger. But after meeting him in person, I was relieved. Immediately I could tell that Andrew was a stand up guy. In his own words, "I will treat your car better than mines." He even offered to pick me up from work if I wasn't able to find a ride. I honestly am a complete n00b to the detailing aspect. From my research and what I have seen from his work, Andrew did a great job. He definitely put in extra effort and care. But enough talking, everyone wants pictures, so here they are. where my car was kept for the night http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6766.jpg nasty glue from dealer http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6770.jpg WRB ftw http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6775.jpg example of scratches he found, tons of them on my car http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6787.jpg fixed http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6788.jpg beauty shots from here on http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6811.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6927.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6936.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6940.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6945.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/IMG_6950.jpg more pictures are found on Andrew's website, along with another WRB BRZ and a FRS. http://www.autosalonworks.com/# |
