got my WRB BRZ opticoated today

After picking up my BRZ on Tuesday and researching this Opticoat trend for a few weeks, I decide it was better to have this protection on my brand new car than not. I went on a search for someone in the Bay Area that was able to do this and more important have experience in applying it. That is when I found Andrew Mijares of Auto Salon Works. Shot him a short email on Monday night before picking up the car. He replied early morning Tuesday.

After few days of being overwhelmed by the new car sensation, I figured it was time to protect my investment. I called Andrew Thursday evening and was able to drop off my car that very evening to be worked on next day. I was shocked that he was willing to take me in such a short notice. I was also weary about giving up my brand new to a stranger. But after meeting him in person, I was relieved. Immediately I could tell that Andrew was a stand up guy. In his own words, "I will treat your car better than mines." He even offered to pick me up from work if I wasn't able to find a ride.

I honestly am a complete n00b to the detailing aspect. From my research and what I have seen from his work, Andrew did a great job. He definitely put in extra effort and care. But enough talking, everyone wants pictures, so here they are.

Thanks guys! Gees, the car needed more correction than meets the eye and I stepped up to the plate to punch it in the eye :party0030:
