Maps not loading (2019 head unit)

I took my BRZ into the dealer to fix a squeaking center console panel. When I got the car back my Maps no longer loads. The interface still responds, but there's no map image and I can't search for destinations. My next appointment is a few weeks away so would anyone here have any idea what's wrong?
I've restarted the car many times and even did a factory reset with no luck.

Shop forgot to plug something in. My guess is the GPS antenna.

Unless it's missing an SD card. Does that headunit use an SD card with maps loaded onto it?

No SD card in the new ones. They update via WiFi.

It looks like it knows where things are, just not map image in the background.

It's a bit ridiculous they won't fit you in faster given that whatever they did caused this.

Yea I went into the diagnostic menu and it says the GPS (antenna) is working fine.
No SD Card for this head unit - updates through WiFi.

So the dealer told me to go online to subaru-maps.com to download map update onto a USB flash drive to update the system which fixed the issue. It was part of a service bulletin for 2019-2020 MY Subarus.

Funny that they couldn't do it themselves because they didn't have their own USB flash drive.
Also weird that my car didn't update itself over my home's WiFi. It did it once before.
